Ny Malagasy Orkestra, mainly composed of new generation’s musicians, was born with the intent to rediscover, rebuild and maintain works and compositions inspired by local tradition. “Masoala” celebrates the encounter of a series of musicians with a strong artistic personality, who inhabit the Grande Ile, at a summit on Malagasy music. A living testimony to the rich traditions of the island, revisited by contemporary artists and great performers together for a “unique orchestral training”.
