On Vilda Rosor ( Wild Roses ) Finland's Maria Kalaniemi is equally singer and player on her personal pilgrimage to a wide range of Finnish-Swedish musical landscapes. Maria Kalaniemi never makes the same record twice. In this 2010 release she is accompanied by a wonderful ensemble including Pekka Lehti, Arto Järvelä, Eero Grundström, Olli Varis and many other great Finnish musicians. In a nice turn, Kalaniemi sings on a number of tracks.
