The Golden Bough name comes from the Celtic mythology, and the group, with over 20 years of business behind, is known for its beautiful interpretations of traditional Celtic repertoire that reflect the love of the musicians for the rich musical history of the countries of northern Europe. Over the years the Golden Bough have selected a number of wonderful traditional Scottish melodies that reproduce in large part on the album, which, once again, enchant thanks to the extraordinary vocal harmonies that have become their trademark. "Songs from Scotland" contains numerous songs of Robert Burns, one of the most beloved poets, traditional Scottish cuisine as well as the ballad "Donal Og", claimed as their own by both the Irish tradition that the Scottish one. "Songs from Scotland" is a tribute to the Scots that wherever they are in the world, never fail to keep alive the traditions of their country.
