On 29 January 2011, Clannad have held an intimate concert in the historic Christ Church Cathedral of Dublin. The DVD "Christ Church Cathedral" is the visual documentation of the event and offers the public the chance to take part in a concert of great Celtic music, listening to some of the biggest hits of the band. With the fortieth anniversary of the formation that falls in 2013, the DVD "Christ Church Cathedral" is a musical and visual journey with a double value: it is the celebration of the personal realization of the band and its historical contribution to the Irish culture. After seeing "Christ Church Cathedral" is easy to understand why what is now called Celtic music in the past was instead known as Clannad music.
The legendary Irish group Clannad whose music combines tradition, modernity, past and future, is composed of siblings Moya, Ciaran and Pol Brennan and their uncles Noel and Padraig Duggan. In the late '70s, the training was enriched by the presence, at the piano and vocal parts, of the younger sister of the three boys, but she only took part in the creation of two albums and then take his burgeoning solo career that made famous by the name of Enja.
