Singer, mandocello player and co-founder of the famous Occitan band Dupain, Sam Karpienia, continues in the rediscovery of the lyric tradition of Occitan troubadours with a contemporary approach and in this CD creates a bridge between Occitan and Anatolian traditions. Ulaş Özdemir, singer and baglama player, perpetuate the singing style of the wandering troubadours from Anatolia, the "Asik". His gentle voice and quiet and the deep, hoarse and dramatic Sam Karpienia voice, blend well on percussion shutters Bijan Chemirani accompanying the singing of these new poets.
