Printed for the first time in 2001, the album Krifì of Ghetonia has been reprint for Anima Mundi editions. Founded in 1992 by Roberto Licci (former member of the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino), Ghetonia are one of the most influential groups of Greek Salento, a small region of Salento (Apulia) where linguistic minority 'grika' (a dialect of Greek) is still spoken by the matrix elderly. After being among the main protagonists of linguistic recovery of their land, Ghetonìa, have begun a path of measured fusion between Salento traditional music and Balkans. Krifì, recorded during the tour of 2001 in Portugal, Spain and Greece, is the direct testimony of the level of enchantment and melodic expressiveness achieved by the group.
