Powerful, poetic melodies and lyrics mark this musical suite evoking the sun and wind, the ancestral elements at the basis of Cretan culture. It is therefore dedicated to Orion. The grandson of Minos, King of Crete, the titan Orion fell for Pleione who, along with her sisters, was raised to the stars: the Pleiades. Ancient myths and symbols, striking beauty, sun and light, the disappearance of evil and the struggle for an always inaccessible ideal, all contributed to giving naming this album from the legendary hunter of Greek mythology, now one of the most prominent constellations in the night sky.
