Leggendario violinista e virtuoso nel solco della tradizione violinistica scozzese, nel suo curriculum ci sono la leadership della Banchory Strathspey and Reel Society e la partecipazione nel gruppo folk-rock “Rock, Salt and Nails”. Il suo maggior interesse rimane comunque il violino solo e la composizione di brani in stile tradizionale. Questa compilation viene dagli albums realizzati tra il 1996 ed il 2004 ed è una selezione dei suoi brani favoriti. Una compilation che rende merito a questo talentuoso violinista e compositore.
