This fifth volume in the Swaradhiraj Series consists of two live performance recorded in 1986 in Mumbai. Pandit Bhimsen Joshi presents two ragas which are both combinations of more than one pre-existing raga: Jogkauns and Bageshri Kanhra. The way in which Panditji sings them is not always the most obvious or most common, but his treatments are distinctive and carry the weight of his authoritative style.
