The album of Andrea Parodi and Elena Ledda, together for the first time in a new and exciting journey among the suggestive sonorities of different Mediterranean cultures, won the prestigious prize “Premio Tenco” never assigned to any Sardinian musicians before. A great satisfaction and an important praise to the careers and professionalism of two of the most representative voices of Sardinia. The musical research starts in the enchanting and huge Sardinian tradition, and then goes towards an ethnic direction, touching all the Mediterranean territories.
“Rosa Resolza” is an idea born in 1998 with the first intuitions of Andrea Parodi and Elena Ledda that started materializing in 2006. Their work has led to eleven tracks, meaning for both of them different stages of their lives: the more peaceful and sunny one in the joyful atmosphere of “De Bentu”, “Temporadas” and “Inghirios”, and the more melancholic one, rendered in the soft sounds and words of “Sienda”, “Ruzaju”, “Rosaresolza”, “Astrolicamus”, “Mirade”, in the sweet traditional religious singings “Mirade”, “Non mi giamedas Maria”, and in the hymn to life “Gracias a la vida”.

A great satisfaction and an important praise to the careers and professionalism of two of the most representative voices of Sardinia.
An album that finally makes their dream of unifying their creative forces come true, moved by mutual esteem and by the desire of interpreting together, for the first time, the intense melodies that are evidence of the cultural heritage of Sardinian people.
They have been exporting Sardinian music all over the world for more than twenty years, in order to make the Sardinian traditional melodies and old singings meet the Mediterranean musical elements, among Arabic, Sephardic, Ligurian, Andalusian, Brazilian musical contexts. The development of melodies and rhythms leads to a continuous dialogue between the two solo voices, the acoustic guitars, the violins, the contrabass, the tenor mandola, the accordions, the “launeddas”, “su sulittu” (kind of flute), together with the percussion’s intensity.
