Compassion , edited by Dr Sonam Wangchok and realized with the collaboration of the Himalayan Cultural Heritage Foundation (HCHF ), has four mantras of the Himalayas, recorded in Leh (Ladakh, India) between Septeber and December 2013. In addition to the religious content listening to these mantras highlights the quality of the musical signifier . The voices interact in a deep, evocative, despite the simplicity of the iteration of syllables. Equally effective is the instrumental dimension, fine texture of drums, cymbals, flute and lute that sometimes takes the front of the scene and heightens the sense of ritual inherent in these devotional practices .

The mantras are not only focused on the mystical formulas of Invocation and metaphysical value of the Word , the supreme expression of the divine and the first principle of creation. They are also sacred sound vibrations, intended to connect the human with the divine. Compounds representative of syllables , containing within them a great spiritual energy, can awaken in one's true self and give it the lighting. The properly execution of the mantras facilitates the liberation of the soul towards higher states, leading to union with the divine. The continuous chanting of mantras purifies the conscience and mind, promotes harmony at all levels .

Compassion , edited by Dr Sonam Wangchok and realized with the collaboration of the Himalayan Cultural Heritage Foundation (HCHF ), has four mantras of the Himalayas . Om Tare Tuttare - Ture Swaha is dedicated to Tara, the Mother of all Buddhas. It is a patron whose compassion allows you to make less harsh afflictions and sufferings, both physical and spiritual that affect us.

Om Mani Padme Hum, universally known mantra, is composed of six syllables, and is usually associated with Avalokitesvara, the Bodhisattva of compassion. The recitation of this mantra is useful to attain wisdom through a path of generosity, ethics, patience, perseverance and concentration.

Associated with Guru Rinpoche (or Padmasambhava) is Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi mantra composed of twelve syllables to represent the main teachings of the Buddha, the essence of the Law of 84 thousand doors. The power of Padmasambhava is huge and retrieve it with this mantra is equivalent to getting wisdom and blessing to a large extent .

Om Muni Muni Maha Muniye Swaha is a mantra of the Buddha Shakyamuni and leads to the essence of enlightenment, the pure form of enlightened discourse. Its syllables give strength and energy, control the suffering of samsara (worldly life, the material world ), self-indulgent thoughts and illusions .

In addition to the religious content listening to these mantras highlights the quality of the musical signifier . The voices interact in a deep, evocative, despite the simplicity of the iteration of syllables.
